I only got 1.5 hours of gameplay out of it, which is not a lot for 5 bucks. I bought because it is supposed to have an excellent narrative, but it wasnt actually too good. The graphics were beautiful!

The puzzles are the exact same each level! You move hills up and down, up and down. Every once and awhile, you move sheep. These extremely simplistic “puzzles” don’t make sense, and are so much more frustrating than enjoyable. The only good thing I have to say about this game, is the art style is beautiful, and nice. So, if you want to spend $5 to look at a nice picture, this is the game for you.

Beautiful graphics and story

A meaningful game with beautiful graphics, lovely music, and relatable story. It’s can be a bit frustrating at times to get where you need to go but for the most part pretty relaxing. I enjoyed some of the small interactions you can have with the scenery. Overall not a challenging game, but what you are left with when you finish the game is the point.

This game looked beautiful which is why it got 2 stars but I would hardly call this a puzzle game. Moving the hills up and down is not a puzzle!

If you are a reader and art lover you will thoroughly enjoy this game. The narrative unfolds upon each ‘checkpoint’ as the protagonist sits down to rest and has a subsequent flashback spurred by player interactions with the environment. For example the old man will sit and after pressing a nearby boat the boat will blow its foghorn and the sound brings to his mind a memory and the player is presented with a single image of a flashback. The flashbacks are all in chronological order and require the reader to piece them together in order to understand the narrative. Besides the storytelling, gameplay consist of raising and lowering the landscape in order to provide a passageway for the character. The challenge is simple enough—as many poor reviews will tell you, but these clearly stopped playing at the games beginning— the the puzzles do grow more difficult and intricate down the road. Besides gameplay, The artwork is stunning, each environment is fresh, original, and dynamic; as the narrative grows more turbulent the weather will become increasingly stormy and so on. That being said if you require fast paced addictive stimulation do not waste your time trying to enjoy this masterpiece. I feel many bad reviews come from the types of gamers accustomed (spoiled) by games that do everything for them in terms of storytelling and fast paced action. If you have the patience and perceptive facilities required to enjoy a fine novel or a walk in the park do give it a try. If not steer clear!

This game was not only beautiful to look at, calming to play, and unique in its gameplay, but also had a really nice soundtrack and a story that really got me into the game. I really got attached to the characters! It was just really pleasant and makes you think about life. I just finished playing it for the second time :)
