Needed improvements
SteveinSC

It's ok. But it needs some improvements. You should be able to go back to make corrections through the whole game, including previous hands. The app should be able to deduce the maximum number of cards from the number of players. (max=(52/players)-1trumpcard). In other words, with 7 players the maximum is 7 cards. The app should know this. The controls for increasing and decreasing bids and cards taken aren't very intuitive. There should be a bidding option to ensure that the bid never equals the number of cards in a hand (force overbid or underbid), allowing for games where someone always loses in a given hand.

Needs Game App!

It would be great to find an "Oh Hell/Oh Pshaw/Niggle" card game app in the Itunes store. I'd buy it! Even so, this scorecard app looks cool.

Needs option for ending game
Notional

If you decide to end a game after 10 rounds (say), earlier than planned, shouldn't you be able to call it a game (save the results)? As it is, there is no graceful exit.

Scoring restricted
Pevisa

Very nice app, but with a little more customization, i'd be able to use it for my home games. When overbid or underbid, the penalty we use is the difference between bid and taken tricks. This is not possible with the current app. Also, it is impossible to correct a score once you move to the next round. With these small UI changes, the app would be ideal for my purposes.

Nice score keeping app
ByPedal

The app does a nice job of performing the score keeping, to include the scoring variants that my group uses. I wish it had a coupe of features that the scoring program that I wrote for my laptop had, though. First, the app should be able to very easily compute the maximum number of cards to be dealt in the round based on the number of players. Second, it would be really nice if the app indicated whose deal it was for each hand -- seems silly, perhaps, but my group is always forgetting who dealt the last hand. With these two additions, I'd very happily be leaving my laptop at home.

Significant scoring bug
Doplegnger

Iphone 3GS using iOS 5.0.1 encountered a significant scoring bug upon download. Underbid scoring is not properly recognizing the variable "taken" as a penalty. Formula: Penalty Taken+0 Bid 4 Taken 6 = Penalty 0 INCORRECT!!! Scoring rules page properly lists the penalty that should be given, actual scores do not reflect this. I'm shocked that this has not been fixed by this version and hoping that it stems from the recent software update. Please fix this so that the app can be used.

Buggy
Review Nickname

Loved the original oh hell scorepad. This is a poor update/upgrade. Bugs with the name entry, bugs with the scoring. The only thing that I was looking for was the ability to have more players. The other features seem to have introduced a host of issues/bugs.

Best Oh Hell Scorecard
somecomputer

Even though this is the only Oh Hell scorecard I've found, it's still the best! I love being able to play without searching for a pen & paper. After a long night of cards adding up the scores can gat taxing...nevermind remembering which hand you're on. This app does it all for you. It even has stats so you really know how awesome you've been playing.

New scoring update!
freestyleses

Love the app. It makes scoring a breeze. The new update makes scoring much more flexible, and it allows for the variation my friends and I play (books bid minus books taken). Wish there were an overview screen, but that doesn't keep me from using it.

Easier than paper!
rstrease

Great way to keep track of the scoring. Easy to use and track scores.
