No info. Strange.

Where is gr to eng
Smariott

It will do eng to gr but see nowhere that I can do gr to eng.

Good start. Bare bones so far.
Mac Since 1985

It's at version 1.1, and the fact it's just beginning its development shows. For instance, the Info doesn't give a hint that you need to switch the keyboard to Greek in order to search Greek and back to English to search English. Of course anyone using the app presumably knows of the Greek keyboard already and can guess (fairly soon) how to toggle. The definitions have no examples to suggest meanings in various contexts (though there are phrases listed by themselves) and there's no inclusion of grammar. If you don't know your irregular verbs, you're on your own. (Search for "went" and you won't get "go", and likewise with Greek irregulars.) The definitions can be dialectically odd: feugw en panikw brings up "skedaddle". But many definitions do try to give a range of synonyms. Despite those criticisms, I am glad to have the app (and I paid the $1.99 to get rid of the ads). I congratulate the developer on a good start and I look forward to the app's future maturation.

Very useful

Quick on the fly translations; does both Greek to English and vice versa. Still a few gaps to fill but definitely my go to.

Ok but limited breadth

Simple interface. Completes words as you type. Shows translations without needing to click on suggestions. Those are the good things. However there's little detailed information on most words. No pronunciation guide. Often Greek words I look for aren't there. Even fairly simple ones. So the dictionary isn't extensive.

A downgrade. Sketchy lexicon, no native iPad view
MacSince1985

I liked the earlier version (1.1). This one is a downgrade (1.1.1) . The selection of terms is now utterly arbitrary. For instance, the word εχω "have" will appear in numerous phrases--but not if you look up that one word alone. The same is true for εγω "I", and so on. It just will not function as a dictionary. Also the iTunes ad should be honest and say that the iPad view is not native. Instead you see that fuzzy old iPhone view. Even for free, it's not worth it. The ads are too big besides.
