Fun game, but short & plotless

GGritmon

This game was fun. Yes, it was similar to Limbo, but that's fine. I also enjoyed the short episodic structure. However, there were only 3 episodes, and in the end there wasn't really a resolution to the loose plot. Feels like this game should continually release new episodes every so often, and slowly show more of this girl exploring this dangerous world.

Fun but story needs an ending

Motown311

It was good but needs an ending and a little more puzzle and less go all the way back and do something to more forward.

A good enough fix for the Limbo crowd

xevious2501

Inspired by Limbo is an understatement, but Limbo was so good you can't Blame copy cats. This one simply needs refinement to polish both its animation, controls. It keeps you entertained well enough. A bit too dark though, color wise.

Limbo Ripoff

Olson87

Not great. This ripoff of Limbo has shoddy controls, isn't intuitive, and the game will serve ads right in the middle of gameplay. Died twice just in the first level because of these interrupting ads. I would say don't waste your money but since it's free, I'll say don't waste your time.

Magnificent!

Total rip off

What is it with all the ads??? They happen in the middle of movements. Incredibly annoying. I won't play amymore.

Average

I only played as far as the part with the rotten tree (I got stuck cause there was no way to know how to advance), so take this review with a grain of salt: I like the visuals, but there are some parts that are low-res, like the button layout. Clearly you borrowed a lot from Limbo, which isn't necessarily a bad thing; the main differentiator is that it's in full color. Oddworld is my all-time favorite pastime, but I didn't see how it was similar to this game. As for the dialogue, I found it unnecessary (maybe it's relevant further down the plot, but I don't know), especially the part where the character talks about how "illuminating" the plants are? Like, I know it is, why say what's already obvious? This is a classic example where you should "show, don't tell". But the biggest flaw I have with this game are the ads. That's a major no-no. They seriously detract from the game and story you're trying to tell. While I understand that as a developer you have to make ends meet, why then won't you just sell your app at a premium? I would buy it for $4.99, max. Overall, I think it is an average game. Don't feel discouraged, though. Take the opportunity to improve your skills as a game developer for future apps, and you're sure to succeed.

Wow...
