Its an ok app. The events are out of date. You have to go into the app to see the weather alerts, it doesnt notify you. Not a very good job keeping up with updates.
Pop ups for severe weather

When I first downloaded it I was getting alerts for severe thunderstorms pop up on my phone. That doesn't happen anymore or they come an hour later. Please fix.
issues with update

1st version worked good. update does not work after sync with itunes. downloaded on new iphone 4s. sync with computer to itunes all data comes up null

Reads Null for all updates. Crashes when you click on items. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same errors. Please resolve.
Great Alert app

I don't have a weather radio, so I love that this app has notifications for weather alerts (if you aren't receiving these pop-up alerts, make sure you have "push notifications" turned on for the app). I use it in conjunction with the Weather Channel app (also free) so I can track the severe weather in my area and take precautions as needed.

This actually shows you on a map where the accidents happen right at the time. It's easy to see and zoom in on it.
