"O Tannenbaum" has improved my life immeasurably. Since downloading the app, I've become healthier and more energetic, and I have achieved a sense of inner peace. The world is truly a better place with apps like "O Tannenbaum" in it. One note of caution: this app has nothing to do with Wes Anderson's fine film "The Royal Tenenbaums." On one level, it's about moving your little elf up the Christmas Tree. But in a deeper sense, "O Tannenbaum" is about the struggles we all face as we seek to better ourselves in our journeys to the tops of our own personal Christmas trees. Whether we're beaned by the flying ornaments of the uncertain economy, or burned by the hot lightbulbs of our disaffected society, in a very real sense each of us is that little elf. My only complaint about the app concerns the very first thrower of ornaments. She seems to be unnecessarily mean. But this is a minor quibble with an otherwise stunning accomplishment.
