This app used to be the best. Now, it's the worst thing in the world. Type in a number, watch 3 ads, just to see the "results" which usually say "unknown" or "unavailable"

I tried it with a number I didn't know, then put in the number of someone I did know and it gave me the same info on both numbers. Even the carriers are wrong. Feel bad for anyone who paid. It's worthless

Used to be a great little app. Now you get to watch a minute and a half of ads to find out there's no data for a number. Move along if you haven't downloaded it yet. If you have, delete, it's not worth the memory on your phone.

Last six searches are same as caller id unknown, it used to always get a hit in the pass. Deleting after review.

I have an iPhone 5S. This ap was great when it first came out, but since around late September 2014 (and as I write this on 10-2015, when I get a call and it shows up on my iPhone 5S as a “Number Guru Top Spammer” my iPhone is eventually LOCKED UP and won’t respond after I look at the “Top Spammers Number Guru” and I never-ever started a contact list like this nor a group, that magically appeared on my iPhone contact list. What I had to do (third time no less in about 45 days) was to delete Number Guru from my iPhone and then do TWO hard resets. That allowed me to go back into “recent calls” and I avoided selecting the “Number Guru Top Spammer” but I selected “ALL” recents and deleted them. I tried just deleting “Number Guru Top Spammer” by itself, but thats when the iPhone would lock up. After three times of my iPhone 5S being locked up (and running IOS 8.1.2) I am tossing Number Guru totally off of my iPhone. Sadly, this was a great app until the software developer started forcing iPhone users to watch a video before they would allow you access to their app in order to look up an unidentified caller and in the process leave a worthwhile comment about the specific Spammer who is trying to rob unsuspecting people of their identity and steal & clone their credit cards. In the future (and until Number Guru goes back to their better app they used to have) I’m letting ALL calls I receive that I do not recognize, nor which ARE NOT in my iPhone’s calling directory to go to VOICE MAIL (especially calls from weird area codes that I do not recognize) Number Guru is TERRIBLE now.

There's nothing I hate more than getting spam calls in my cell phone. This app takes the guess work out of random phone calls. When I can look up and see if its a spam call or possibly someone I actually need to call back. Download the app as soon as you finish reading this.

I agree with the previous review. This was a good app. for several months it worked great. Then it just stopped all of a sudden. I don't think it was even looking the numbers up. Just saying unknown, when previously it worked almost every time. I've uninstalled mine as well. I also had the same problems with the Number Guru appearing in my contact list with at least 500+ callers & if u hit it it automatically locks up your phone!! Don't download!!!
