The app just crashes now. Add a phone number and it crashes. It’s too bad, it used to be a good app.
Fantastish!!
Please tell me how to get this awful app off my iPhone. It’s blocking legitimate numbers and it’s nightmare!!

What more needs to be said. It crashes every time you search for a number under iOS 13

Seems to run fine now with iOS13. Number Guru has always been useful. Thank you

I got this app when First released and it worked good, but for the last few years you might get 1 hit on every 200+calls. For some reason I never thought about finding one that worked the way it is supposed to,until today. Bye bye

I have been a full service subscriber since practically the beginning. Loved it; worked well. "Watchdog" community dwindled recently down to a handful, it seems. Now my searches are XXX'd out, and it doesn't work AT ALL... UPDATE Surprisingly, the past year has brought some helpful number search utility back; at least we now get legit names and addresses (when ID is in a generally searchable database). So that's nice - only, as things are these days, they're nearly entirely SPOOFED legit or newly invented robocall phishing scammer names and locations. Lately, in fact the ID names have become suspiciously outlandish; bizarre spellings and mismatched ethnic origin combinations, associated with locations where I can't imagine a real human being lives: many within a few feet of a major freeway, or vacant lot/industrial properties. Anyway, better. Though only really useful now, when it's a spoofed number that hasn't already been tagged by Verizon's new "Potential Spam" ID service. But true relief will require disabling the ability to spoof altogether, as well as filtering/alert-tagging or Banning unsolicited Robocalling. Cold-Call Random "Telemarketing" businesses are never welcome nor honest in their sleazy sales pitch annoyances, all targeting gullible and mentally impaired "victims". Don't make deals or give money to ANYONE randomly calling "out of the blue"! Never Ever a good thing.

I was an original user of Number Guru (NG). This new version blocks and identifies nothing as spam or a robo caller. I manually look up numbers to see what type they are. This last one, +1 (856) 812-4937 was identified as spam, was not blocked, and as per usual, left me a voice mail, I had to manually look it up and then block it myself, plus mark it as spam for future blocking. I’m also a BV customer (if that matters) but when looking up numbers, invariably the lookups are useless as spam numbers are almost never identified let alone blocked in my version of NG. So disappointing. I am left to looking numbers up online and blocking them myself them telling NG it’s spam. Something is definitely backwards. I get that spammers spoof local numbers but NG needs to do better since Nomorobo id’s the same numbers in my online searches.

This app use to be the best for phone number/caller verification. NG had a niche that was unrivaled. It was perfect, until it was acquired by a corporate conglomerate of douche nozzles that sell the PII (personally identifiable information) that you once utilized. That information alone is worth way more to a private company, not to mention the benefit of subscriptions for the way the app use to work. Now it's a stupid and pointless app. SO WHOEVER DECIDED TO SELL THE COMPANY OR MERGE WITH BEEN VERIFIED NEEDS TO GO SIT IN A CORNER AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY DID. SMH... EXCPLICATIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had this app, recommended to my family, Ram like a charm. After the update, it became JUNK. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.....Definitely deserves a Zero Rating.
