Nucleus is an action packed arcade game with classic roots. You fly a spaceship around while blowing up space debris. There are tons of cool weapons powerups which give you lasers, heat seeking bullets, shields, etc. The goal of the game is to build Atoms by collecting Electrons and taking them to the Nucleus. It's an incredibly fun and exciting game, and it can be played over AirPlay in true HD on your HDTV set.
Great effects, classic gameplay. Someday I'm going to complete this game… Update: Still trying…but I got farther!
Ok, I'm a long-time fan of PangeaSoft. I have been since they made games for Mac OS9 (the original Nanosaur was my favorite). When I heard that there was a free version of one of their games available for iOS, I of course HAD to get it. I was sadly disappointed. Despite the interesting premise, centering around the periodic table of elements, this game doesn't feel like a PangeaSoft game. It feels like a half-hearted attempt at combining 'Asteroids' with 'Spore'. Does it work? To an extent. The game is fun, despite being immensely difficult. However, it does get dull when you play it for long enough, and the game is fairly plain. I was expecting an arcade-style game on the level of PangeaSoft's classic game 'Firefall'. However, this game, despite its awesome premise and amazing developer, falls flat. It's fun, but not enough so to stick with you after you put it down.
