Fine app, and quite a challenge. It would be nice if it worked in landscape mode as well as portrait. Portrait mode is a little hard on the eyes.

It keeps getting hung. I can't even get back to the main menu when it does this Also ends when I still have on letter left and charges me for a hint Would be 4 or 5 stars for entertainment - but only 2 now with it getting hung all the time

It doesnt seem to know ive completed the puzzle. Pressed check, no errors and all blanks ate filled.

I like cryptograms and it is really nice to be able to replace all letters with two clicks. But ... - even the advanced ones are pretty easy - the high scores are not separated by difficulty level - it would be nice if the keyboard was not so close to the hot keys like "restart" - it would also be nice if it would show the available letters when you choose one to replace. All in all I like it but just can't give 5 stars. As I say, it's a great app to keep your mind busy.

This is a fun app with some great trivia tidbits. I only have a couple of suggestions to make it stellar. First, the advanced mode only uses monoalphabetic substitutions. It would be nice if there was an advanced mode with polyalphabetic substitutions, columnar transposition, railfence, playfair, and maybe even RSA (with more manageable factoring). Also, freq analysis and other crypto tools/tutorials would be awesome. But, absent these features, great job still! Highly recommended.

Too buggy, too easy

As others have said, just a lot of annoying bugs. Buttons all too close together. Keyboard far too small. and I'm getting repeats on the puzzles -- not sure if it tracks which ones I've solved. Also the puzzles are far too easy. Should probably do away with word breaks for the advanced mode -- once you guess one or two long words correctly, the puzzle falls into place too quickly. A great guessing game, but very little chance to practice any actual cryptanalysis skills. In the end, about as challenging as sudoku. :(

Fix glitches and give me more puzzles!

Saving, leaving, then coming back erase the work on a puzzle. I would like more variety of puzzles!

I wish there were more puzzles, more challenging puzzles, and that the letters were a little bigger. Otherwise it's a fun game!
