I think software decoder is usable on A12+'s CPU performance.

Great app but recent updates have many problems. I experience some lag and performance issues especially when changing the subtitle size or seeking backward or forward a movie and Unlike the previous versions, this version is unable to use custom fonts that installed in ios (for subtitles). Those fonts are available on other apps. But not n-player. ios 14.2, iphone 8plus.

The process always gets killed when playing audio in the background. Event: cpu usage Action taken: Process killed CPU: 48 seconds cpu time over 48 seconds (100% cpu average), exceeding limit of 80% cpu over 60 seconds CPU limit: 48s Limit duration: 60s CPU used: 48s CPU duration: 48s Duration: 48.01s Duration Sampled: 46.99s Steps: 23 BTW: I have downgraded to 3.12.3 on another device, which works better. This issue still exists in version 3.12.11 on iOS 13.7, iPad Pro 11 inch (2018).

Found one bug for the latest version. SMB server is not working any more. Please fix it.

Edit3: still dealing with new performance issues. Also I see the version on this says 3.10.10.6 not 3.12.11. Was a wrong version uploaded? Not sure why the About/Version is saying this. Please back the version two releases ago. That was golden. Edit2: just installed 3.12.11. File system lag still exists. Just slower now when exiting movies and navigating around. And on the iPad mini it now crashes from time to time for no reason. Opening the app is really slow too. This update took a step back. I reset my setting to default but that didn’t help. The release two versions ago was perfect. I wish I could bring it back. Edit: I agree with the recent reviews, this update has messed with video performance at times. It isn’t just a lag issue with the file system. I am sure you will fix this though. Thanks. Glad to see this keeps getting updated. I do notice a slight lag after exiting the viewer to the local list of videos though. You kind of freeze for a couple seconds, like it gets stuck writing to the database maybe? An iOS 14 issue possibly? As usual I figure you will send another update to correct minor stuff like this. Keep up the great updates and video performance. Thanks.
