WHAT IS AN ESCAPE GAME? HOW IS IT PLAYED?
The basics of the game principle come from the adventure genre. The goal of the game is to leave the place where you are trapped. This task requires skill, patience, and logical thinking from the player. This place is usually a room that has at least one locked door and holds some items and hints.
If you tap your finger on an object, you examine it, similar to a classic point and click adventure. Watch out! It may be worthwhile taking a close look at objects and having looking from all sides ...
Sometimes multiple objects can even be combined to receive new objects or hints. Occasionally, the meaning of an item becomes apparent to you at a later time. That's why you should regularly check your inventory to make sure you are aware of the items you carry with you. If you interpret the clues correctly, you can solve the puzzles with the help of the objects and escape.

fun but has its problems

Loved the atmosphere and the graphics and the way you could interact with items in your inventory, ex. pour water out of a jug while tilting it. The music and sound design overall was amazing and really helped to set the mood. I did enjoy quite a bit of the puzzles but at some point they started being unintuitive so i had to get to a lot of the steps/solutions with free hints. I have to give you credit for not forcing people watch an ad for a single hint like all those other escape room games, though. I think the ad placement was fine overall, considering this is a game you'd probably have to pay 3-4$ for just to play if it wasn't free. I saw ads every 10 minutes when i tapped to enter another room and i'm completely fine with that. The only thing i ABSOLUTELY hated was the ending. I knew something like that was coming but it wasn't set up properly until the very last minutes of the very last act. Sure, the collectibles gave some hints, but that wasn't nearly enough worldbuilding. And while some players complained about the ending cutscene being too long, i'm going to complain about it being too short and not having much going on in it. I mean, come on, the ending's supposed to be the thing that crowns a game. Overall, i didn't feel like i wasted my time because i did really enjoy many parts of the game, but it definitely could've been 5* worthy.

I love escape games, but this one needs to have a PTSD trigger warning in the description for people who have gone through trauma. The ending hits another level of creepy that is too close to trauma that a lot of people go through, especially in childhood. It doesn’t even wrap the story up at the end, it alludes to various unnerving possibilities that can trigger PTSD. The puzzles in general are okay (hence the 2 stars) but PLEASE add a PTSD trigger warning.

This game is sooo amazing, it’s very high quality and freeeeee I’m so satisfied I love this game it is that best escape game everrrr I’m already 40% through the game and I just downloaded it it’s so addicting and wayyyy worth downloading

No idea why this has five stars. The puzzles have no continuity to them. The interface is clunky and obtrusive. There’s no way to know what you can click on so you just madly click on everything. Graphics are nice enough but other than that not much fun.

This was just an amazing game overall and playing it once was so fascinating. Slowly piecing together the story with hints there when needed and otherwise figuring it all out by myself was truly a work of art I’m so thankful to have played it and I will next try and play it in German as I’m learning it! This game was all around great with a few tricky puzzles here and there, nothing but a few hints couldn't help. Definitely recommend if you like puzzles and has a great storyline at the end to sum it all up.

This is a great little mystery/puzzle game with a very well-written story line. I was impressed with the story, music and creative ways new rings are revealed. After you are so far in, there is a fast travel feature which combats frustration with repetitive tasks. I don't see this as being horror-themed. But do be prepared for a story with some emotional trauma, though the is nothing graphic or overtly violent. the developers deserve praise for such a well thought out game for this small platform.
