A fun learning experience

Rctf

Nova elements is really fun and educational except that its too short they should add more things to do

Good to point

My only objection would be that we could rebuild the element or molecule after you achieved it, but have not find it so I could early on my call which I doubt I am.

No more video.

When I first downloaded this app it was great was using it to help teach kids in school and my daughter at home. But the just cut off the video witch cuts off most of the learning potential. It say you can not play video out of the United States but I live in Massachusetts. Fix this and the app will be back to 5 stars.

Cool but short

This has a great feature where you build the elements from neutrons, protons, and electrons. Then you can use those atoms to build some common organic compounds. This is fantastic and I hope they expand it to include more about electron orbitals and chemical bonds.

Makes learning fun

My son was 5 when we first watched the Elements. He was changed to a mini scientist, thanks to NOVA. He started telling everyone about electrons, atomic numbers of gold or other elements and importance of Corbin. The video triggered all kinds of activities for us. He has been checking out all sort of science books from library since then. Nova's Element is a great example of how media can be motivating and how science can be fun.

WHY?!

Zoëlle Jane Aarons

Why can't I watch the dang video. I live in California. As far as I know it is in the U.S. As soon as thus gets fixed I will move it to ?????. Till then I am gonna be upset. THANK YOU PBS (sarcastic voice)!

My 9 year old daughter and I had hours of fun. She learned a lot about the elements and asks to play with this app. I highly recommend this as a fun introduction to the periodic table.

Interesting if you love elements

This app is great for people who need a education or need to know about the elements. I feel like why do teachers not use this when they are teaching science or social studies so the kids get to no more about the elements. But I also think he should talk more about the gold because he only talked about it of ten minutes. He also makes learning fun for kids to learn and actually pay attention instead of passing notes or talking and telling jokes and some kids think about some of them a bit to wrong. So if I were you I would let tryout child watch this.
