No true Lasso or Snipping tool

I really like this app for writing notes, it is very smooth and fast and looks and feels nice, however a big thing that it is missing is a precise snipping tool. It has a perforated box tool but it doesn’t allow you to select certain things/characters within other things/characters, it makes you have to select it all in that area which doesn’t make moving things and adjusting very flexible. Please add a good Lasso or Snipping tool like the others i.e. GoodNotes 4 or Notability. Thanks. Other than that it is very good app.

WARNING!!! USERS - DO NOT ALLOW THIS APP TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE!!!! I HAD OVER 500 ITEMS IN THIS AND THE THING TOOK FOREVER TO LOAD THEN CRASHED. IT HAD CHANGED ALL MY FOLDER COVERS, AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS IN THE APP AND WHAT IS NOT. !!! DEVELOPERS - PLEASE RESTORE AS WAS AND ENSURE THAT NOTHING - NOT ANYTHING- IS LOST. THIS TECHNOLOGICAL INEPTNESS IS COMPLEDTELY UNACCEPTABLE. RESTORE MY FOLDERS AND DOCUMENTS SO I CAN AT LEAST MOVE THE CONTENT TO ANOTHER APP.

I bought today because I needed something like that to work with .pdf but crashes everything, closed all the time when I try to do something!!!! Loss my money? Update please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I've been using this app for almost 2 years (the old version was called something else) and it's been reliable, functional and everything you'd need from a word processor. Also, I had a minor problem uploading to google drive, and their customer support was actually responsive and helpful. Wow. You can't even get that from the cable company.

I use this as a grad student to take notes in class. Instructor provides PDF versions of class PowerPoints on online class website (Blackboard). I navigate to it in Safari on iPad and use "open in" feature to move over to this app. I take notes with Pencil 53 (would love for this app to fully support Pencil 53). Works great.

Very nice major upgrade of an already first-class app! One of the few if not the only auto-smart-quotes iOS word processors. (Also auto-converts double hyphens to em dashes!) As a universal app that is now available for my iPhone as well as my iPad, this powerful writing tool now provides an array of PDF capabilities. Altogether, the best! Haven't noticed the stability issues some other users mention. This app just seems to get better with latest versions. I must admit I occasionally switch back and forth between this and Textkraft, also offering a very nice writer's toolbox. Recently, however, I returned to Textilus and it feels 'right.' Only thing that's missing is an iPhone version that syncs!
