My favorite note training app!

AndImStillAlive

I am an adult taking piano lessons. I’ve been using NoteBrainer for about a year now, and am enjoying the new update, there are more options and the layout looks cleaner. In addition to the sight reading training that the app is designed for, I recently started using the app for ear training. I can set it up so it will play a note, then I have to figure out what note it is. This is really helping me with pitch recognition on the piano. While I think this app would be great for children, I am happy that it is not geared solely to children. It’s very easy to use, but doesn’t feature the juvenile graphics that most other note training apps use. I am very happy with NoteBrainer! Thank you :)

Perfect

I have a week to learn to read the staff for mallet percussion auditions and this is actually perfect.

Spending time

frddwww

Well worth spending the time to learn to read music. This application has helped me learn to sight read music and enjoy playing the Piano now that I can read music. Before I was fumbling trying to read music and fun in the keys. Highly recommended.

Super helpful free app

One suggestion to make the keyboard narrower and expanded, especially in landscape view so we don’t need to switch octaves when going high to low.

The sound disappeared

popllllllll

This app started out really well. However after I had it for a day or two, the sound stopped working and I couldn’t hear the note that was shown. I deleted it then reinstalled it but the results were the same. I would really like to use this app but without the sound it’s not useful to me. Can someone fix this please.

Review

It's a lot of fun. But; I get nervous at times and make mistakes. After many years of loving to sing and listen to music, I’m finally learning how to read the notes instead of having to depend on having someone play a song/ or sing a song for me first.

This is a very good app

This is a super good app because you can learn a lot form this app.

Useless for what I need

Mur Lafferty

I was hoping to learn to read music but this app assumes you already know it and just quizzes you. I cant be quizzed on something I haven’t learned. Also in the settings you have the option to change your instrument but that only changes what you hear; you’re still working with a piano interface.

Stupid

Very good App.

This is a very good App. Very simple, no complicated menus, no unnecessary graphics, no multicolored visuals to distract - overall a good App. I suggest the developers to add rhythm training too.
