It makes it very easy to learn how to read music

In-App purchases won’t work
Jownny

Would be my favorite note training app for my children but none of the In-App purchases will work and I have wasted a lot of money. For days it has said “Try again later” on multiple devices.

This started out really great and I was excited to test this. I wanted to test out the entire program so that I could recommend it to others. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it very far. Now it crashes each time I try to use it.

Cute Concept, Poor Execution

When students try to play this - on various devices and using a range of WiFi speeds - the app continually tells them they are wrong or didn’t react fast enough, when they actually were correct and responded in a timely manner. It crashes at the exact same part every time, so matter how quickly the kids respond correctly.

Crashes on launch

Crashes on launch. Couldn’t even play

Looks fun but...

As much as I would LOVE to play this game and learn the notes, it crashes the moment I downloaded it. I continuously clicked on the try again button in hopes that it would let me into the game but whenever I seemed to try it never let me into the game.

Great!

As a professional musician and music instructor, this game is ideal! What a great, fun learning tool. I can't wait to recommend to all my students!

I'm learning to read music!

This game is incredible. It's a total throw back to vector graphics video games. From the splash through the entire game, it's an accurate homage to the genre (down to the "RUB" in the leaderboard). It's a free download, but you really need to buy a level pack to get deeper than just a tutorial-ish level. They are pricey! But oohh so worth it. This game is impeccable: great feel and flourishes -- it's pretty. The gameplay is smooth. It gradually gets more complicated with power-ups and whatnot... many of which are clearly designed to help with the learning process; brilliant! It took me a couple of tries to figure out the rhythm section. Do the tutorials, first! Killer way to learn to read music. There's no greater motivator to remember that's a G-note than not wanting my guy blown away! :)

First time music reader

I love music and singing and I've been looking for an easy way to learn and this game is it! I look forward to playing and learning how to read sheet music!

Fun way to read music and more

Not only do you learn to read notes by blasting them with your spaceship, there are other mini games for focusing on rhythm and music theory. Give it a try!
