Note Hitter Voice contains flash cards to teach note recognition and games to test your ability to sing from a score or hit the right intervals.

Each challenge starts with a tuning note that is the tonic of the scale or arpeggio that all the notes in the challenge belong to. Sing the right notes as they appear.

Note Hitter Voice cleverly chooses exercises to improve your ear for intervals. It teaches you about scales and gets you singing from written music.

As you improve the games get faster and more challenging using more notes from your vocal range. You will learn a lot and have fun at the same time.

How far can you go?

Vocal ranges can be set for each user – so you can easily choose a range that suits your voice (Soprano, Mezzo-soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone or Bass).

From a gentle start Note Hitter Voice builds up to increase the vocal range and reaches a tempo of 170 bpm to test the speed of your note identification.

Can you hit every note even across your full range?

Better than others

I've tried 3 other apps for sight singing and this one is by far the most fun and what I was looking for to practice!

Great way to learn pitch!

I don't have any formal vocal training, but I'm sure this would be a good supplement to vocal lessons (for practice at home). It's easy to think you're naturally pitch perfect when singing/driving. Get this app to see just how far off you are! I'm impressed with how easy it is to quickly gain an ear for scales! I doubt I'll be the next Pavarotti, but I'm definitely better at hitting notes than I was a few days ago. If you are spending any time trying to improve your singing voice, this app is completely worth the money! A few feature requests: - A real-time pitch graph below the staff. The fact that it displays the closest half-step note you are hitting is great, but I'd love the ability to get really precise. The graph would have a range of a half-step above and below the note you are trying to hit. - An option to warm up with each note in the current exercise before starting (rather than just the tonic). Just show and play each note that will be appearing up the scale. Let me hone in on each note before moving to the next (like in the flash card game), and the start the exercise. - Don't automatically add each new module as it's unlocked. Even after successfully completing each exercise, I still needed a lot of practice with it before adding more complexity/difficulty. - A progress report, so I can track how I'm improving. Show me what exercises I've passed and give me an average accuracy rating (as a percentage of how close I am within the half-steps). Great app!

this is an OK app for sight reading. I found the microphone takes a second or two to process the pitch you sing. I found that especially true when you are singing at 100 BPM and faster. I think it would be better if you could get notes wrong and finish the exercise. but after one wrong pitch the exercise stops. I hate the sound of when you get one wrong. fyi, It's like a big crash.
