Notcho is the original notch hiding app and the first app created specifically for iPhone X. You can import any photos or images and then save a specially created image that can be set as a wallpaper in the Photos app that hides the notch at the top of the screen. Or you can choose from both free and premium wallpapers that ship with the app.
NOTE: This app can only hide the notch in wallpapers on your home and/or lock screens. It is not possible to hide the notch while running apps.
Notcho is free to download and try and it doesn't contain any ads. It creates wallpapers with a watermark which can be removed with a one-time in-app purchase within the app. Please help support further development on Notcho by upgrading if you find it useful.

Who wants an app that has the watermark right smack dab for everyone to see in the bottom right corner. BUT I’ll give you 3 stars because of how well it works. Maybe if you make the watermark price reasonable I might get it

When I first got this app, I thought it would make my iPhone 8 look like an iPhone X on the wallpaper. And why the heck does it have a crying face when it says “make your wallpaper look like the iPhone X”? I’m not impressed. And they only had like three wallpaper options for me! This even deserves a zero star rate.

Notcho has pasted an infuriating advertisement on my screen saver. A photo from my own file has been corrupted with there egregious self promotion. They extort another $2 to have it removed. I paid the ransom and it’s still there. I find it even more difficult to believe that Apple is trafficking in this type of sham.

This app does exactly what it advertises with no fuss, and removing the watermark is well worth the cost. $1.99 one-time is hardly much if you have any kind of coffee habit, for example. The team is also super responsive to support emails. I failed to engage my brain while using the app, subsequently sent them a feature request for something it already had, and then heard back promptly.

There’s some great free wallpapers for iPhone X, but this App has the ability to make fantastic wallpapers from any source. It’s not expensive, and works very well.
