Norton Ad Blocker Reviews

While this does block many ads, there are two things which is is utterly horrible with: blocking ads that mute the music on my phone; and, it’s “exceptions” list. With the former, probably 2/3 of The websites that I stumble upon have an ad that pauses/mutes my music, whether or not its audio then starts to play. With the latter, I have lost count of the number of websites with a prompt that asks me to add their website to my adblocker app. Upon doing so, no amount of refreshed ever makes those websites load properly. The bottom line, i think, is that there isn’t much competition in regards to effective as blockers, thus giving Norton essentially zero incentive to make their product better.

I understand why sites have advertisements... however, I absolutely refuse to deal with ads that pop up, block my entire screen, and sometimes never allow me to close out of it. This app is amazing for this. I’m fine with regular ads mixed in with articles but the ones that block my entire screen? Whatever it is - I vow never to buy that product even if it was something I had intended to buy due to the inconvenience. That might seem very petty (it probably is) but in all honesty: if companies believe blocking my entire page with their ad will make me go ‘oh my god, I’m so glad this ad is blocking my screen and not letting me view any content, I have to show my buyer’s appreciation and purchase this immediately!’ They’re idiots. Thank you for this app, never had any problems with it.

This is the most awesome app out there!! Since I installed the app I have not had any problems with ads. My data is saved and my cellphone bill has gone down because those ads are not draining my data. I recommend that everyone use Ad Blocker to improve your cellphone. I give this ad Blocker a five star rating!!

Is this app really free, or am I gonna get hit with a hidden fee? Other than that this app really works, so why isn't it up at the top with all the other adblockers? I went with Norton because of their reputation and hope that they really are protecting my privacy and data info. I'm not too sure about who all are behind those other apps, but Norton has my vote for TRUST!

Norton is by far the most trustworthy company to go with when choosing an ad blocker. It may not be very customizable, but it is both free and effective. So far I've had nothing but a positive experience using this ad blocker.

It doesn't block ads for YouTube but I don't mind. There were features that I used that weren't Apple "certified" as I like to call it. But that means it's doing its job right? It's really good and simple. I'd recommend to anybody looking for an ad blocker
