If it's time for bed and you need to calm down your kid. Unfortunatelly it won't do job if your kid is hungry. You still need to feed them :)

I don't think the visuals really add that much, but they don't harm anything. The sounds are soothing. Free version gives you 30 minutes to go to sleep, and maybe that's all you'll need. A good selection of natural/simple white noises: fan, beach, fire, rain... And a lullaby.
