A great way to keep up on what’s happening in New Orleans. As a native living in San Francisco it has been a wonderful connection to my home City. I especially like the Business and Saints sections.

That says it all. But 9.95 a month is a bit steep for a retired out of towner that wants to read headline news and sports. How about a reduced fee ?

There’s so much room for improvement. -The layout is awful. It’s so busy and difficult to read. I have tried to get used to it, but it’s just not happening. -There’s more news than high school football. On some Saturday mornings, I can’t find out what’s going on in the world, but I can find a detailed story about every high school football game in the state. Please get your priorities straight! -For the past day or so, every time I refresh the articles (aka sports reports), it says that 12 new stories are available. Alas, they never show up. It’s unfortunate that The Advocate (which bears no resemblance to the Times-Picayune) has a monopoly. Further, you don’t get full functionality without paying for a subscription, which is not mentioned anywhere. Does the AppStore know about this sneaky trick?

I’m from New Orleans. Moved away in 1990. This app keeps me up to date on all the news. I’m loving this app.
