Doesn't work!!

Lotusfire

I installed this app and upgraded it, but now it doesn't work at all. I can't even open it on either my iPhone 7+ or Ipad Air 2. Big waste of .99!!!!

Nice app; shoddy implementation

Like that this app avoids skeumorphic BS, that it's a simple clock, etc. Don't like paying for a font, but understand it. But guys: you want to control screen brightness in your app, fine. But have the class to do it properly, first storing the current setting and then replacing it when your app loses focus. Having to reset my display brightness every morning is a sign of really amateurish work.

Almost perfect...

Please add basic alarm functions!

Possibly My Favorite App

DJR03870

This app does EXACTLY what it says it does: it displays the time in a very easy to read format. I've used it on my nightstand every night since I downloaded the free version a month or two ago. I continue to use it just as it came because it does a simple thing very well and without any need to fuss - i.e. it displays the time in a large clear red font. Nevertheless I upgraded to the paid version simply because I felt it only right to pay for the brilliance that brought this app into being.

Turns your Alarm off

Catch08

For the 3rd time in the 2 weeks I've had this app my alarm went off, I hit snooze, then woke up 45 minutes later to a screen that's still on at full brightness and an alarm that hasn't went off again. I thought at first that it was just a coincidence that this happened after starting to use the app. Now I'm convinced it's the culprit. I use the volume or power button to snooze my alarm. There's no way I turned the alarm off myself because you have to tap the screen for that. This app is keeping it from going off. Cool idea. Horrible execution. Looks like I'm gonna have to break down and just go buy a real clock if I wanna know what time it is in the middle of the night.

Excellent app

Have been using this daily for years and just wanted to thank the developer. Would be be nice to enlarge the font on the day and date line since there is plenty of screen room.

Best clock I’ve tried

Jaymaerroper123

But it needs an alarm to make it perfect. My problem with all other alarms/clocks is that the backlight is so bright, even with the display dimmed to the max. This clock has quite the black background. Please add a programmable alarm with custom snooze PLEASE!

Perfect

Does what it says, reliably and without fuss. I have used it for travel for years, and would hate to leave home without it.

FABULOUS!!!

I tried a dozen dimmable clock apps over a two year period. They all had the same problem - the more I dimmed the numbers, the brighter gray the backgroud became. Even the best of the bunch threw enough light out, from the background, to light up the room. When I woke during the night and glanced at the screen, it was so bright it caused me to squint. Then I had to roll over, with my back to the screen to go back to sleep. Otherwise, I could sense the light through my eyelids. Don't know why I even tried another app. I had given up up on finding the right one many months ago. Tben I found Nite Time. It is about as close to perfect as I could have expected to find. The background is vastly darker than the other apps I tried - almost pitch black. This one causes no squint whatsoever when I wake at night and no light penetrates my eyelids. Without the bright background of other clocks, I can dim the numbers all the way down with this app and still read them easily - even with the super skinny font, Helvetica UltraLight, which I use. As a bonus, the numbers are very large. I can read them, without my glasses, from several feet away. That's a must for me. For someone wanting a better night's sleep, buy a good mattress and download this app. Kudos to the developer!

No alarm = useless.

Ya got me night time. I even bought the fonts ASSUMING there would be an alarm function. We all know what happens when you assume. Couldn’t be more embarrassed that I fell for it.
