A boy called Sky is a Ninja fan who came over from USA.
His objective is to enter the Ninja school in Japan.
Sky gets picked up by a girl called Ayame,
who is a far relative of him.

They have decided to go to the Ninja school together.
However, a serious trouble has happened at the Ninja school.
Sky and Ayame have started their journey to solve the trouble.

Fight against them using the item "Spell Ball",
which has the Ninja skill inside.
To use a "Spell Ball", you need to answer

You can defend it by answering the correct Kanji of the word.

Best game ever! It doesnt crash for me so I'm pretty sure they fixed it; and i use one of the first iPod Touches.
A fun way to learn Kanji but be patient

I like the dialogue in this game as well as the battles to choose words based on the Kanji. As you get better, you can easily translate and it becomes a fun way to test your memory. Also, you do more damage as you quickly choose the correct Kanji to define an English word. It helps to know the numbers from the manzu tiles in Mahjong if you get counting numbers 1-9 to translate. Only problem is that the game shouldn't force series of battles against you as it encourages grinding; beat a couple enemies and lose to the 3rd one, and you gotta level to have enough hp to afford to make a mistake. It'd be much better if it was 1 on 1 battles where if you lose, you'd fight whoever you lost to. However, as you learn more kanji, you can win easier and if you have enough spell balls, you can start skipping battles in this gauntlet. I recommend you try to be patient around that ninja gauntlet at the end of chapter 1. I say this because I felt a Eureka effect as I started correlating words and skipped a battle since I got enough spell balls. It's really a fun way to learn but you have to persevere through this gauntlet. Afterwards, the spell balls can eventually lead to combos as well, adding some depth.

I feel like people always learn better when they're having fun! This game is a great way to learn kanji and get you away from doing SRS flash cards all the time. I highly recommend it.
