All you need to do is slide the onscreen joystick to pilot your ladybugs and help them collect the stars. Since ladybugs are vulnerable, keep them away from poisonous droplets.

Bug moves slower than the stars, and the joystick is annoying. The bug passes right under the stars without catching them, you have to basically run into them head on. Constant pressure and movement on the joystick, after a few minutes, you've got a worn out finger and a dull game. It is not addicting. Irritating, yes.
