An app about photography doesn't really make much sense if the pictures don't pull up. Do people even test their apps before releasing them? I'm giving it 2 stars since the information is really good. Until the photos and videos work this wont get 5 stars from me....So Nikon PLEASE fix and test your apps!

Great Content...In need of an update

AlyssaLeigh89

I think the content of this app is awesome. I love all the tips it has on this app. But I think the app is in need of a serious update. I think the interface could be a little more user friendly. Also the more crucial points are it currently makes my phone run super hot, and it crashes a lot. If these would be fixed then it's a 5 star app for sure!

Both wonderful and lame

This app accesses a lot of useful information: articles, tutorials, terrific photos; and it includes articles from Nikon World magazine. When viewing photos, you can rotate your phone or iPad to get a bigger view, and you can also do limited zoom. It keeps track of which articles you have read, and new articles are periodically added. You can mark photos or articles as Favorites. If you love photography, especially if you are a Nikon user, you want this app. Unfortunately, the app itself has issues and limitations. First, it is buggy and crashes a lot, more than any other app I am willing to use on a regular basis. Second, the photos are only viewable if you have an active wifi connection. Third, when you watch one of the app's videos, there is a large chance the app will crash, and if it doesn't crash, the video is only viewable in miniature, that is, in portrait view. Third, there is no iPad-native version, although you can tap the 2x button on your iPad to make everything bigger (and the photos are a lot nicer to view this way). Fourth, when you view a photo in landscape orientation, you can't access the additional info attached to the photo, nor can you go in one step back to the text of the accompanying article. Instead you have to rotate the idevice back to portrait orientation, then tap "Back" twice to get to the article. Fifth, you can only read in portrait orientation. Sixth, your favorite articles and photos may eventually disappear from the app when new ones are added. I give the content 5 stars, and the app itself 1 or 2 stars.

Great app

Janibum

If you're beginning photography this is a very very useful app that has so much to offer. You won't be disappointed with it.

Best photo app out there

WorthlessOffering

This is by far one of the most helpful and informative apps out there. It is jam packed with techniques (beginner-advanced) and also brings you fantastic articles that you can favorite so that you can find them again if you need to refer back to them. Get this app, you won't regret it

No longer updated by Nikon

Great app but no longer update by Nikon.

Extremely useful app!

sleepwaker86

If you are new to photography this is the perfect app for you. There're lot of new thing to learn from this app, even for pros.

Great idea, but....

clorents

Liked the concept, the content, but hasn't been updated in a year and unexpectedly quits often when scrolling through photos. Photo examples in articles are so small and are not zoomable. Impossible to see the details the articles are describing.

Great Articles

Hectormr2

I like the articles that are published, but the app needs an update, the last one was in 2013!

Please update for IOS 8

GhostHackNinja

Great app but could use the IOS 8 UI overhaul:)
