Camera bases thermal reading off of light

I was intrigued based off of the rating, but I should have considered its legitimacy based off of my 6 only having a camera-camera. Camera needs an actual sensor to give an accurate reading. Pointed the camera at my fridge which I KNOW gives off heat in the back..nothing. I stick my hand back there and it's warm, but because there's no light the screen doesn't light up. Camera doesn't even give temperature reference based on heat reading. Don't waste your time with this. Oh, and there's too many ads. Becomes really annoying when you're just trying to look at something. Someone just made a quick buck off of my gullible-ness. Awesome.

Makes and obnoxious loud sound and does nothing. The ads show up great though, feel free and download for the ads.

I got this for my kid knowing it wasn’t a legit thermal camera, but figured she would like the effect.. which she might, if the app functioned at all. Which it doesn’t.
Love it! Works well.

I used it a little bit around the yard, haven't had a chance to use it out in the "wild". But so far it does what it's supposed to do -- it picks up heat signatures of animals and anything warm. I think it's a really cool app

This app doesn’t sense thermal, it just filters out light and makes it look like a thermal camera. Still, I gave it 3 stars because you can still use it as an FX app to fool others lol.
