The Nielsen Homescan® Mobile App provides registered members of the Nielsen Homescan® Consumer Panel with an easy, interactive and fun way to scan their purchases enter their shopping information and transmit their data to Nielsen. The Nielsen Homescan® Mobile app performs the same functions as the traditional hand-held scanner used by panel members.
NOTES:
- Only authorized panelists are permitted to login and use the app.
- The app requires access to your camera for the purpose of scanning barcodes (absolutely no other data is collected). iOS8 users: view Settings > Privacy > Camera to confirm access is granted.

Nothing in the description or on their site states its for Canada only until you get to the final sign up page where you have to enter your address with Provinces only instead of States. Very poorly done on their part. Wasting our time like that is not cool.
Cannot signup on the app

When you open the App the keyboard covers the signup button and will not allow you to scroll down to it. Poor design.

This app caused my other apps to not work properly. There was also no way to verify how many points received, I was unable to login to the site to check. Deleted after 1 day :(

You have to register in appears only those in Canada can as you have to list a providence.

You have to register to be able to use the app but it requires a Canadian Provence as part of your address. Would have been nice to know this upfront. If this is a bug then it really needs fixed.
