Next Transit uses your location to show the estimated arrivals for the closest train stations. You can also manually select the bus or train stop you're interested in, or setup a list of your favorite stops.
Next Transit requires a data connection to download the arrivals predictions, and location services enabled to display nearby 'L' stops.

Great app. Easy to use interface and the favorites tab lets you favorite train stops, which I couldn't do in my previous transit app. Adding a refresh button would be a great help, as I'm not sure if the times auto-update. Otherwise it's the best you'll find, especially since its free!

I'm gonna begin to go high school and it's located downtown, this app is my life saver. I know when the train is coming and of there's any delays. And the best part of it, its FREE. If you needs a train tracker for public transportation in Chicago, choose this app.
