Love being able to fetch text without needing to open in a browser. Would love to see an option for launching the Brave browser as the default when necessary though.

Used this app for roughly a year freemium, decided to make the switch to premium. It dropped ALL my data in the process. I can’t believe I paid an annual subscription ($35) for it to delete hours of curation & data input. It’s a bad deal and poorly coded. Stay away.

... in the latest version of the app (10.1). On my iPhone 8, running iOS 12.4.1, the story text now will occasionally be blank after I tap on a story from a feed. If I swipe back out and then tap the story again, the text usually appears. Or, if I toggle from Story to Text and back in the story display screen, that usually fixes it too. But it's a regression from the previous version of the app, which never caused this problem on my phone. Otherwise the app is great and I use it every day.

Certainly the best rss reader site/app. OTOH, an infuriating bug has appeared: Random reloading when you view an article in the browser in reader view. On the order of once per minute.

I love newsblur and I have no problem paying for this service. I use it on all my devices. It's awesome. You should get it. AND THANK YOU!!!! The app will now come back to the article I was reading when I come back to the app instead of it being lost forever. And that white box bug is gone! You guys rock! Only thing left is split screen will still have issues sometimes with text going off the app but its much less now.

I mainly use it to get all of the rss feeds and since you can’t view the full article without paying I just go to fiery feeds and get access to the full articles that way.

I've been using NewsBlur for a few weeks as part of the testing process and am now happily using version 1.5 on my iPad and iPhone. It's a great companion to the web interface and I actually enjoy using the apps far more that the website. I love that everything syncs quickly, the feeds display nicely and the app is intuitive. The UI, while simplistic, is totally functional and mostly stays out of the way. I'd probably share a bit more if the sharing button for a story was more prominently displayed. I've had a few crashes here and there, but not recently. My guess is that the backend is getting cleaned up a bit. Overall, this is a great app and I'm looking forward to the continued development. Thanks for fixing the scrolling issues in this latest update - Jan 2019!

Recently the app has begun redirecting article links to spammy ad sites.

I need to follow a ton of sites for work, and Newsblur is by far my favorite rss feed service. Great format, responsive developer, can't ask for more.
