Seriously

This is truly a wonderful game, I really love this series but seriously..... I really wish people would stop feeding L.M.'s Delusional brain with all this "vermin searching" for her. This has become so ridiculous on every level. I am usually very empathetic to people with "emotional problems" but this has been going on for years now. She shames people into playing out this the scenario that require any and all people of the "elite dream team"into proving their loyalty to her by looking for stuff she's afraid of in every single game. Not to mention the things she has put in many past posts about being dripping in diamonds, having her manicurist come to her house to do her beautiful nails and being a california trophy wife and they fact that she Loves fur coats made from slaughtering innocent animals are so crazy I can hardly stand it. What kind of person does that on a game review page?? This person is a legend in their own mind and I'm begging you to STOP encouraging her do behave so badly. There is NO dream team except in your mind. There are real problems in the world but making sure this person feels needed is NOTone of them. PLEASE STOP!

Loved it!

Such a fantastic series, every time! One of the few games I'll be able to play multiple times and not get bored. Please keep them coming in all BN shapes and sizes!

Great as all this series

I love this series. I'm on the last one & I hate it. I hope there will be a new one soon! In fact, they have spoiled me rotten & I dread going back to "regular" games. The maps with collectibles on them are wonderful! Storyline isn't very exciting on the other 2. Don't know about this one yet. So far, so good. Not enough of the interactive HOPs, & too many games, for me, but it's ok. Love graphics. Really outstanding. The only real negative is the menu. When u click on something, like Achievements, u might open Strategy Guide, instead. It's really irritating. Usually works on 2nd or 3rd time. The 1st series was fine, but the 2nd one's menu was awful!" Except for that, I'm really enjoying it.

I played this game soon after the second in the series, and my expectations were high. Lantern of Souls definitely starts off with a great hook. I don't want to spoil the storyline, so I'll just say there was a near–immediate twist that involved an unpredictable supernatural element. The cut scenes are fantastic and captivating. I was invested in the characters and couldn't put my iPad down for the first couple hours. The minigames are clever. I really liked the games where you build the violin and in which you remove glasses with various templates. The HOP are silhouette-based; when you find an item, you use it to manipulate or find other items in the puzzle. There is a logical map that shows active tasks and whether you have any collectibles remaining in the scene. You also have a journal that tracks the key points of the plot. There were some negatives, however, that dragged down the rating of the game for me. The musical soundtrack is repetitive. When an item triggers a voiceover, you cannot stop it and the voiceover will repeat each time you click the item. Morphing objects are often too close to interactive items; several times I had to mash the screen repeatedly to acquire a collectible. Both of these problems, however, are mitigated by zooming into the scene. A recurring problem from the second installment is the reset of minigames if you click away to look at the related clue in the room. All of these issues should be easy for the developers to resolve, and I hope that they are corrected by the next game in the series. Perhaps most disappointing was the bonus chapter. It was much shorter than I expected, and it felt like a trite escape game rather than an adventure. There were few mini games. The one interesting puzzle involved reflecting light beams through mirrors, and although I solved it, the game didn't recognize this and I was forced to skip it. When I finished the bonus chapter, I was also frustrated to discover that the collectible cards I had acquired were not available to read. I had paid little attention to them during the game, assuming that I could read them at the end, but sadly that was not the case. I was happy with the price of $4.99 and don't feel that I wasted my money, but I probably will not replay this game.

Well worth the money. Has a map, morphing objects and challenging games. Interesting story. I really like the map which indicates if a collectible and/or morphing object remains.

Love It!
