to connect with children in an innovative and digital way over the time of New Wine United
Breaks Out. The New Wine Family Augmented Reality app has been designed to support
the Kids’ programme during United. The app allows you to connect to the New Wine
website and bring alive Augmented Reality resources.
On this app you will meet the Little family, Dad - Chuka, Mum - Sophie, and their two
children - Lily and Ollie. The Little family will share daily interactive prayers, help kids to
learn Bible memory verses and bring fun and encouragement to your children along the
way. Visit the New Wine website at www.new-wine.org/UBOkids to download the
Augmented Reality Kids' Zone map resource ready to scan. Within the New Wine Family
AR app you will also find videos with daily teaching, crafts and games which the whole
family can enjoy watching.
How to use the AR Kids’ Zone Map
1 - Search and download New Wine Family AR in your app store. Open up the app.
2 - Click to agree that the app can use your camera. This will activate the app and you will
see two options – Kids’ Zone and Charity Experiences.
3 – When you choose the Kids’ Zone option, you will meet the Little Family and then be
taken to the New Wine Kids’ Zone Map.
4 - In a bright and spacious place, hold your phone about 25cm away from the New Wine
Kids’ Zone map to activate three tents.
5 – Click a tent to connect to the 0–4s, 5–11s or the Craft tent. You will also find bonus AR
features on the map to play with.
6 – Select day 1, 2, 3 or 4 to watch a set of videos or to hear from a member of the Little
family using the AR Kids' Zone map to hear the Little family’s interaction.
7 – Parents can view the Charity AR Experiences by clicking the button that says Charity
Experiences at the start of the app and then selecting a charity logo. Enjoy.
