Pieces Don't Fit Together

This was the only jigsaw app I used on my 4th gen iPad, it was just about perfect, but on my new iPad Pro, it's not worth bothering with unfortunately. The puzzle pieces no longer fit together. For example, an outward triangle should fit a piece with an inward triangle but in both New Puzzle World and New Puzzle Mania, the piece that fits it can be anything. This creates very oddly shaped open areas as well as overlap. No fun anymore. Please fix.
