If you are a fan of the Nevertales series you will love this latest chapter. If new to the series this is a wonderful introduction. Perfect as a stand alone game also. Gears the owl is back, collectable cards, great games and HO, beautiful artwork. Map, diary etc under the menu tab. Long gameplay and well worth the price!

Smoke Gets In Your Eyes!

Nevertales 3: Smoke and Mirrors is a lovely little gem of a game. I recognized the cute little owl, Gears, from the last installment in this series. He is your helper, flying off to retrieve high, hidden objects. So cute! You are trying to determine why the queen has issued a curfew for the town. Of course, you must build or repair many objects before you can discover the truth. The Hidden Object puzzles often require finding keys to open the lists of objects so that you can find them. I like this additional layer of logic atop the regular puzzles. You also hunt for Hidden Cards in each scene ( which, I assume, will figure into the casino element of the additional game.) You must avoid the queen and her soldiers while finding items. The Hint and Skip buttons work well, so there should be no complaints. Although there is a Guide, I have not needed to refer to it. I highly recommend that you buy this game to while away the long weekend with some Smoke and Mirrors!

I love and play a lot of HOP, Mystery games and this is one of the best I've found in a long time. The puzzles are challenging and the HOP's are not the standard. Best of all it took several days to finish, so many others are finished in one sitting...

Very different enjoyable and well worth the 3.99 I paid for it. Everything works, graphics lovely, you will even enjoy the credits!! Very pleased .
