Something wrong with this game!!

Do aloe

From the time it was first downloaded there was no sound at all. I turned the sound on my pad up, but that wasn't the problem. It was the game itself. I don't think it's fair to pay for a game that is technically inferior. I'm pretty mad about it, and I want my MONEY BACK!!!

Note to Kim: I basically tore Feline Muse to shreds, after she bashed you. A mere feline is no match for a Lynx, and we need reviewers, not HATERS! You just keep on giving us heads-ups on new games that we might be unaware are out! You are amazing and Feline Muse is basically irrelevant. She didn't even review the game, just complained about you, one of the most thorough reviewers I have ever had on this team! On to the game. You could customize your settings. At each location you must collect a symbol, which later you will need to unlock extra content. I won't do a spoiler alert though. The graphics were gorgeous and magical. The story was easy to follow, and objectives were regularly updated. Inventory was labeled, interactive and there were plus items to assemble. The hint system was not of the spoiler alert type. There was a marked, if so customized, teleport map to transport you. Loading was instantaneous between locations. The HO scenes were varied, and had morphing objects in them. There were also some micro-puzzles embedded in them, and they were fun. You get a lot of neat gadgets to use, like the ring of fire. There was a decent variety of puzzles and mini-games; some were games of skill and others were rotational and others were codes and potions. Something for everyone. The game was lengthy and had a bonus chapter. There were books like Mad Head puts in all their games to solve in order to learn more of the story. No major rats, always a plus. I really enjoyed this game, but unfortunately I cannot give it a 5 star rating. There was no diary, inventory placement was glitchy at times and I detest having to go into the menu to access the map. I noticed that NothingSmurf was right; I didn't see sparkles on active areas except for the HO scenes. However, all in all this was a very good game and it was interesting and beautiful! Definitely worth playing! Thank you, Dream Team Elite, for rating and reviewing so well. Never let the haters get to you; they don't even review as a rule, just complain! We know how much we have improved this genre, and the game developers and BigFish really appreciate us. So keep up the great work! Lynxie sends ?❤️? to the DTE and to everyone who loved this game!

Good Game

Had great fun playing the game. Do not care for the map in the menu. Game still deserves a 5 star rating in my mind. Got my money's worth of entertainment.

I Wish Nevertales Would "Never" End!

One of the best features of this latest installment has to be ASHBRINGER! He is some major eye candy. He reminds me of Lee Pace as Thranduil in "The Hobbit." Come down to earth now, Kim. I always enjoy the tales of Nevertales; however, I find the action to be less intense here than in the other ones. The special effects and cut scenes are always intriguing and movie-like. The graphics could be crisper and sharper; the colors appear very light, airy, and pastel-like. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and puzzle-like; items require assembly. The teleport map, located through the menu, indicates available actions in custom mode. Transition between scenes is smooth and quick; locations are labeled between scenes. The HOS are interactive, creative, and sometimes multilayered. The puzzles are fun and varied; I love the storybook types where you gain parts of the story. You have some collectibles; they can be well hidden. There were some negative aspects. There were no reading materials to advance the story, which is unusual. In addition, I found touch sensitivity issues with acquiring and placing objects. There were no other issues though. Overall, it's still a good Madhead game.

Probably one of the best games I've played in a while

Nothing insanely hard, and even when basic was still enjoyable. Everything hit all the right notes for me. Looking forward to games by these guys again.

Great graphics and story

Another brilliant game from Mad Head!

This is one of the best HOAP games I've played in a while, and I was impressed with nearly every aspect. The storyline was a fairytale fantasy that actually made sense and brought the characters to life. As the queen who seeks to rescue her king and kingdom from a treacherous villain, you must collect several artifacts, each with a powerful magical ability. Determining when you need to use a particular artifact then watching the consequences tremendously enhances gameplay. The graphics and cut scenes are state of the art, and the soundtrack was gorgeous. There weren't too many HOPs (which made me happy), and the HOPs that appeared were complex and creative. The minigames were innovative and the high quality you would expect from Mad Head. The map enables teleportation and shows you where there are active tasks; the two clicks necessary to access the map were just a minor irritant. I'm not sure why other reviewers said there wasn't a journal. There is one, although it only covers your current activity. There is an outstanding, lengthy bonus chapter that serves as a very satisfactory sequel to the main game. There are many, many other extras that I won't spoil by describing here – but make sure you find all the collectibles during the main game so you can enjoy them all! Strongly recommend!

Awesome
