Updated review

Mac The Apple

I’m glad the developer takes these reviews to heart and is doing away with the subscriptions. Pro features seem decent and the app overall seems faster.

Have really enjoyed this software since it was purchased. This excellent app has allowed me to get good photos on my iPhone 7, thus making it acceptable to delay upgrading to the latest Apple devices. Also glad there are no nagging in-app purchase gimmicks nor subscription fees (which have become a problem with other developers).

Nice app!

I have an iPhone 11, and the upgrade on the iPhone camera in regards to a night camera lessen the value of NeuralCam for me in general. If I still had my older phone, this would be a game changer! However, it does allow me to take night cam selfies, which iPhone 11 does not do on its own. One thing I really wish you had included in the update was a pinch to zoom option!!

Good app. Developer professional and responsive.

Developer listened to feedback on bad addition of charging subscription for a camera app. This is a great app for a ONE-TIME purchase that will take excellent night time photos that far exceed the default camera app. You just have to wait 4-5 sec for processing to complete and have a steady hold on the camera. If the developer seeks to monetize the app more, then in-app purchases for filters, cloud storage, etc. are more likely to be acceptable than a subscription for existing features.

Update 2.0??

Thanks for update. nice work ??

Updated back to 5 star after new changes

TheyCallMeZeke

Updated on 02 Mar 2020 // It’s actually quite refreshing to see this developer going back and getting rid of the subscription model after the negative feedback. They listened and fixed the issue. Other app developers have done the same in the past and doubled down on their subscription decision no matter the backlash. Those apps, like Weatherline, 1Blocker, etc have been deleted off my home screen because of their greedy nature of charging for an app and then having the audacity to flip it to a subscription model. I understand fully that app developers deserve to get paid for their skills and apps, but subscription models are not the way. Anyway, updated back to 5 stars. Thanks for listening to your fan base. Glad I checked the App Store for updates and noticed the change today. I’ll leave my original review for others to see. Old 1-star review // Just like others have said. A paid app went to subscription model. Terrible execution of a once decent app. Could have done the decent thing and released a new app but no. Just like other apps like Weatherlines, 1Blocker, and many others ... they decided to jump to the subscription model. I have enough subs as it is with Netflix, iCloud, Spotify, and many more. Sorry, but I will be getting rid of this app at this point out of principle because this is just the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come. I hope the devs enjoy the money I spent initially. The rate of apps doing this in the App Store is quite alarming and hope Apple does something. So scummy of devs to do this. Just release a new paid app instead of suckering in loyal users.

Great App Developers

They charge for the app in the first place and then release an update for a subscription model? Then change their mind and give us everything in 2.0? Love it.

Waste of money.

Comstrock ok app

There’s only five choices to make a picture better. I just don’t understand what’s the hype on this app. I’m sorry for such a low rating and a bad review. I wish I could get my money back from buying this app.
