I LOVE my home! NEMA!
Peachie36

I have been residing in NEMA since July 1 of last year and it has been nothing short of amazing! The building is beautiful, the amenities are endless and the staff is awesome! The rent is pretty expensive but it is worth every penny. My only wish is that I could purchase my apartment. But, I absolutely love everything about NEMA and would encourage anyone to be a resident. Happy New Year!!!

Cannot connect bank account
TalaSol

Manual bank account connection is broken because the Stripe API key is not properly setup by the devs. There’s an error message indicating this when you try to submit. Instant verification is with Plaid which is awesome until you realize the app is making you eat their cost of hitting the api with the fee the app charges you to do so. Would definitely bump this rating up if that API key bug was fixed or if the instant verification was free like it is for every other app with that service.

Poor replacement for Riseio app
JeremyApp

I can’t think of a single reason that NEMA Life needed to replace the perfectly-fine Riseio app previously offered by our building. The vast majority use it to make amenity reservations and get their cars from the garage, and the new app does this horribly. The old app had a Home Screen shortcut (long press) and a single tap from the main screen. This has neither. I didn’t even think this app let you request your car until I was pointed at the convoluted set of steps that bring you to a web view where you need to find and manually enter your valet details. I’m glad some developer convinced NEMA to pay more money for a fancy new app, but it’s an unnecessary downgrade from the old one.

Full of bugs

Upd. This is the most terrible app I ever used, who did such a lousy job? Did you try to use the app yourself even once? Do you have QA at all? I have dozens of suggestions, but it’s not my job to write in many details, it’s your job to create an adequate app (I am not even asking for a good app, just mediocre would suffice). What you have now is a disaster. app is for Nema Chicago building. The app's name is Nema Life. I use iPhone SE and iPhone XS In short: 1. App crashes 80% of the time when I try to book a study room. 2. Booking process is convoluted. Just count how many clicks everyone needs to make before booking a room. And if the room is unavailable — you should start from the very beginning 3. SO SLOW, very frustrating 4. Why do you contract text in your amenities section? Who needs that “click to expand” if you can just scroll the screen? Who came up with that design decision? 5. Do your developers know about cache? It does not seem so, the app is constantly loading everything -> huge delays 6. Contact section. Try opening it and figure out what button refers to what line of text. No QA was done. I do not have time to do your work and, so just change the product manager or whoever is in charge of creating this app. at least FIX #1, it’s an excruciating bug. I tried to use you app on 2 different phones, always a trouble Old review Developers make it look like this app is so hard to build, harder than to put a man on the moon. SO MANY bugs, constantly crashing app, terrible, not intuitive design. Hate to use it every time, but have no choice.
