The one star rating is for now regulating the volume of commercial. I’ll set the volume to where it’s at a medium setting but when commercial starts, they set the volume to the maximum level. This is very annoying.
Most accurate local weather app

I really don’t use the news function, and I’ve turned off any alerts. For forecasting, the weather function is by far the most accurate. I use the app only for that

I only use this app for weather, but it’s more accurate more often than others I’ve tried. Not perfect—after all, it’s the Bay Area. But worthwhile. When there’s breaking local news it’s also handy.

Breaking news, local and global! Im completely immersed in caregiving elderly parents and grandchildren so I don’t have much time to read the news paper or listen to it on tv or radio. I always tune into NPR now in my car but I appreciate staying in touch with the real world happenings and this NBC Bay Area app reminds me to check into what’s going on around me. ?

This app is exactly what I needed a quick way to get the local news. Its not the app I have issues with but the news.. sometimes i feel like it has not been updated and I still see the news that i had already read the previous day.
