This is a great app for both news and weather. I have multiple weather apps and this is the most useful.
Educational App for those interested in Weather

Yes, I said educational app for those interested in weather. Five years ago I was watching NBCChicago.com, had the weather app and tuned into NBCChicago tv Channel 5. A tornado was waltzing its way to Hammond which ended up dancing and swirling right between the two apt buildings where I live. Kudos to Brandt Miller - as I yelled out in my building to get in your safe place a tornado is heading right for us. My neighbor upstairs told his daughter that the girl downstairs is nuts. Well, lo and behold the tornado did come here knocked the tree that was taller than our buildings over into the yard, the decorative concrete wall also was destroyed. Our lives were spared. Thank you Brant Miller & the NBC APP. Download the app and keep your eyes on the sky! I give this app 5 stars

I love how you can zoom in on your location and see the storms position. The verbal 5 mile storm and lightning warnings are real lifesavers too !!!

I love this app I have it on my phone and tablet also on my computer. It keeps me up today on what is going on. I highly recommend the app. I give it 5 stars. That is how much I love it. Thank you channel 5 for having this app. I do not have time to really sit down and watch the news on tv. But I can see what is going on with this app.

I’m a news and weather Junkie. When in the car I listen to news radio and whether at home or office I get up to the minute reports on both through this app. Both written word and visual if wanted. Weather portion provides all that I could want to know. Perfect companion to your various newscasts.
