I wanted to try something different than Waze for my pioneer head unit. This app looked promising until I got prompted to let the app use my location even when it's not being used. A big no thanks from me. No app should ever use your location when you're not using it. Back to Waze I go.
Had to delete app to get to work

App crashed every time I tried to use it. Deleted and redownloaded it and now it's working. Unreliable but otherwise good app.
Not functions on ios11

Since the new update ios11 came out for iPhone m, It hasn’t not worked on pioneer AppRadio live. When can we expect a fix for this issue.

A user incorrectly reported that my neighborhood feeder street was closed 975 days ago resulting in the app not navigate to or from my house. I submitted over a dozen reports that the street I travel on everyday was not closed or blocked in any way. Each time it acknowledges receipt of my correction but after two weeks, and uninstall/reinstalls the road is still shown to be closed with construction ongoing. No one from Email, Twitter or the Facebook listed support options ever sent me a response to my request for help. The app connects beautifully to interface with my Pioneer head unit from my iPhone 7s, but I just found the Waze app to be compatible as well. Good riddance!
No longer works in Pioneer Appradio

I liked this app better than Waze on my Appradio because it was more legible on screen. Unfortunately it hasn’t worked since the iOS 11 upgrade, which broke many Appradio apps. Most other apps have been fixed but unfortunately not this one or Waze. Would love to see this fixed, beat Waze to that and Navmii will get all the Appradio business.

This is a great app that I recommend to everyone to get directions in situations where cell signals are not available. With winter coming, this could be a big help if you get lost in a remote area.
