Cant play friends

Since upgrade i cant play friends. Whats up it starts games with other people. I have a iphone 6

Just wanted to play against my daughter and this app tries to pair me with someone in another place. Why not wifi or Bluetooth direct play. Of no use to me, this is not a clever or complex game that I want to be playing with strangers in other countries. Just a quick game to play with my kids. Not gonna happen with this version. Look on the bright side, it is better than EAs app. I think.

Still getting random opponents on rematch, even though they state they fixed bug ?

Great game, but too many bugs

Overall, it's a great game, but it has too many issues. First of all the animation is too slow. Second of all main screen doesn't refresh. In order to check whether your opponent had made a move, you have to exit to main menu and then come back to the game list. Third issue occurs during the ship layout step. It's a major bug because even if the ships are all laid out correctly it still shows an error message suggesting ships weren't properly laid out. If all these bugs were fixed it would have made it a great game.

Every other time I try to open this game it cannot connect. Literally every other time. I try to start new games with Game Center friends using rematch (and they do the same) but it never goes through. Fix this! Love this game but it's not updated enough. Extremely glitchy with chat too.

No singleplayer

Obviously they are not fixing anything here so will stop playing. Don't recommend because the bugs will drive you crazy.

I've been playing this game with my father for years. He often works away from home and this is something we can play together even when he is gone. Not sure what others are talking about with the bugs...we've experienced none!

Great game but uber buggy..

Gameplay is great and the animations aren't bad. Even the ads don't seem to bother me but this game crashes frequently on my iPad and also I cannot get the manual ship placement to work which is a HUGE disadvantage. It repeatedly returns an error that it cannot connect to the game server.
