Instead of notifying “update available” it forces you to update the app or you can’t use it. Ok I’ll download your 200mb app on my limited plan. Now i have to wait until i get home. So lame, these developers have no clue how an app should be made
The preview app is broken as it’s saving or caching errors and views. This results in me and my team having to redownload the app just to get rid of the errors. Would love for this to be fixed soon! Will also update the review once done.
I created a new project using one of the provided templates and ran a preview through nativescript sidekick but after playing around on the app preview it suddenly showed an error that says “oops, something is wrong” with a long error message. After that, I couldn’t preview anything anymore. Just crashes and shows the same error message.
It spit out a mile long error and then says “no need to close the app, just fix the error” and now won’t work...
This app has revolutionized how easy it is to get mobile app development started. Sure there are some errors you have to recognize and deal with, but that's what you get when doing development. On some occasions, there are errors that are unfixable generated by your own code (never ending loops, deep underlying errors, etc) but they can be solved by just uninstall and reinstalling. :)
All I ever see from scanning the QR code in the playground is a list of available components unless it’s just totally crashing. I’m on iOS 14.2. I have reinstalled several times.
Been trying {N} on and off over the years, really wanted to like it given the impressive features and the ease of playground from the very start. But the documentations and --help results are just terrible, as times completely wrong. Then to add insult to injury the playground app currently at v6 is a behind the v7 boilerplate typescript vue example. Migrating to v8 further causes crash on launch with file:///app/bundle.js:18:83: JS ERROR ReferenceError: Can't find variable: TNS_ENV
