They send out false promo ads . The app never works. Placed an order and it did not go through for an entire month.

This app is terrible. It takes forever to load and half of my purchases don’t even go through. Take my advice and just order regularly… this just wastes your time.
Difficult app and the developers don’t care

Today, the app sent out an email saying everyone would get $50 to spend for the new year. Mine wasn’t there. I jumped on chat and asked for help. They said it would pop up in a few hours. Now I got an email saying it was all a mistake. When I signed up I was promised $50 for signing up and $20 after my next two purchases. I got the $50 and used it after multiple attempts. They cancel orders often and you won’t get an email if it’s cancelled. You have to remember to check the app and see if your order worked or not. They won’t let you purchase from any website you have to log into. The comments on their social media is turned off for a reason. They don’t want bad publicity.

Love the concept but almost every store I try and use this with cancels the order. What gives? What are y’all doing on the back end that’s getting the card denied?
Hassle instead of convenience

Great intro offer but the app seems to not be capable of linking to my bank account, so I cannot take advantage of the offer. Plaid connects but but then in the Nate app it fails to allow me to select my account. Disappointing. Another downside: You’ll pay more when the Nate app misses easy-to-find discount codes and free shipping offers. Nate has wasted my time rather than saved any.

I’ve tried to make several purchases at a variety of stores suggested by customer service, but they all cancel immediately. I’ve wasted so much time trying different purchases. I’d like to use the app!

How can u make an app that doesn’t even work sure the 50$ is cool But how is it good if I can’t use and it says I’m doing fraud all of the time that’s Stupid I gave never written a review ever in my life so u know this app is trash

This is the first review I’ve ever written for an app, and I’m doing so in the hopes of saving people a lot of time and frustration. The app is great in theory, but downright miserable in execution. I work in tech, so I have a firm grasp on how well-built apps should work. This ain’t it. For starters, Using Nate means you, as a consumer, are giving up your right to take advantage of markdowns, new customer/subscriber incentives, and so forth. you pay shipping on each individual item purchased. There is no way to build a cart, even when purchasing items from the same store. Hugely inefficient and expensive for app users. Secondly, using Nate means you, as a consumer, are giving up your right to take advantage of markdowns, new customer/subscriber incentives, and so forth. You aren’t able to apply promo codes, so you’re paying full price unless the items are already marked down on the product’s website listing. Also worth noting there’s no way to apply gift cards on purchases as you can easily do on a brands’ native website. Lastly, when you decide you want to roll the dice and place an order, you are doing so without knowing what your total payment will be. There is no opportunity to review the shipping, tax and total before confirming your order. It’s all blind. So really, you need to go through the checkout process on the product’s native website to learn your total, then backtrack to the Nate app to complete your purchase knowing how much you’re actually spending. Typically apps are created to make life easier, but Nate does nothing of the sort. It’s actually makes your life worse for downloading it. Note that when you need to contact customer support - because that IS a when, not an if - they’re uninformed and powerless. One individual I spoke to via the chat function freely admitted they thought the app was not very good.

Support Can’t figure out the reason why I can’t place orders on my account for a few days. And Then I open another one trying to see if It is my email issue. Then I was blamed on opening 2 accounts? And they just block all my transactions. One of my friends successfully placed the order. Then a few hours later he told me order was cancelled by merchant but his bank account was still charged! What a trash Nate.
