Great Bible Study Tool

BeenHeavyinFlorida

I have enjoyed this app for years. I use it to read my devotional, my Bible studies and for reading some Christian literature. Use it for taking notes and for outlines for leading studies. The best I have found. Especially enjoy the Thompson's Chain Reference system, the Bible Dictionaries, and the correlated maps showing relevant geography to the Scripture.

Awesome app!

The Bible I use

When I hear someone say they are looking for a Bible app, I always point them to Olive Tree. Why? These features are foremost in my mind: *the account syncing across devices, *the ease of flipping back and forth between versions and translations (a biggie for an amateur scholar like me), *all the versions with Strong's numbers and concordance, *highlighting *Notes *History of study There are nice secondary features: choosing color schemes, parallel text in the slide-over window (for Harmony of the Gospels, or other cross-reference work), ease of navigation. Like I already said: it's my Bible that I use, and I always point people to it. Get their free version (public domain Bible text and all the features are included), and try it yourself. Then purchase the bundle of your choice. They even have specials on versions and books by contemporary and historical authors!

Well Designed

I'm very pleased with the work that went into this app to make it so user-friendly. It offers the student of Scripture to make notes in a side window while the Bible is open on the left side. Also, the search features and hyperlinks help me navigate to related passages and word studies. I enjoy using one of the many daily reading plans too. And, the notes I've written sync across all devices.

Well Worth Downloading

I've used this app for a few years now and love it. Perfect for bible study as well as carrying in to use at church.

Good app but some bugs

For the most part, I enjoy the Olive Tree NASB+ app. It gives you the ability to have multiple Bibles on your device. The transition between versions is smooth. It is a little unreliable in the restore purchases section of the store. I lost some books during the last few software updates. That is unfortunate, since I had quite a few books that I just couldn't get back. I like the split screen feature. It allows you to open up a scripture in the main window and open a note in the split screen. That is very handy when you are taking notes during a sermon or to right notes for a sermon. You can look at the scripture, but still take notes at the same time. Overall a good app. My favorite features include the split screen, the ability to have as many versions of scripture as you like, and the seamless updates across devices. It is really handy even across unrelated devices such as Kindle, iPad, and iPhone.
