Great app for me

DiscoNostalgia

After being diagnosed w T2D, I downloaded several diabetes apps at once to try then all out. This one won out handily. I input my BG readings in Apple Health and MySugr imports them. (I like having redundant systems.) I am currently managing my diabetes without meds, so frequent testing is key for me. I enter my carbs and activity values in the app so I can correlate them to my BG readings throughout the day. The insights and feedback I get from having a reliable and easy to interpret tracking app have been invaluable. It's helped me to get my A1c down and stay off meds so far. One feature that I don't understand why it doesn't have is the ability to create our own custom tags. I do use tags all the time, and it is quite easy to filter and search records by tag, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to add my own custom tags. It would also be nice to be able to customize the reports. Sometimes my doctor just wants to see my fasting glucose readings, but I can't make a report of just those. Also the reports include space for insulin/medication dosage, which is always blank for me, so that's not really helpful. But these are not major impediments for me using the app. As for the monster, I don't know, maybe the developers missed the mark with me. I like him too much! I kind of get sad when I get enough points and he winds up chained up. :) I think he's cute.

Excellent for newbies to logging blood glucose!

Dawifey

I’m pre-diabetic and my doctor told me to start logging my blood sugars. I wanted an app that would work with me while I am on the go and the color coded G/Y/R readings make it easier for me to understand. I love the features where you can enter text/pictures of what you eat as a reminder and where you’re at too.

Phenomenal

Fantastic tool for keeping track and motivating you to log. I can’t sing enough praises.

Luvin' it

Went with the AccuChek Guide meter w/unlimited strips bundle deal for $40 a month. Received my meter today, had been poking around the app prior to receiving it though, and so far, I'm delighted with it - meter connected easily without any issues at all, so bonus. Lots of good features to help recognize patterns and log everything easily - access to well known CDEs is a great bonus for the paid version of the app. Can't beat the deal offered, it's really helpful for those uninsured or under insured with high co-pays or tight restrictions on allotted amount of strips. The app is a great tool to use to aid in management of type 1 or type 2 Diabetes, and could even potentially be useful for those with hypoglycemia to help spot patterns with foods and drops.

The Charts are complicated

The functionality is good, but I would prefer a simpler looking chart. By putting all the information on one screen, the developers have made the charts too difficult to read. I would like to see an interactive charting feature. Also, some really basic features are only available on the pro edition. Like reminders to check your sugar.
