It’s a cool little app. I purchased the 6 player theme, but we went through it in under an hour. Not super long, but a fun thing to do.

A fun game with an easy to use app. However, Chicago Shenanigans promotes stereotypes and homophobia with the depiction of the gay character. I’d be hesitant to buy more games because I’d don’t want to contribute to these stereotypes.

It was kind of unnerving not knowing how the actual game would work until we played it at the party, but it worked very well! The script flowed well, was easy to understand at first glance, and the clues were the perfect level of difficulty. Nothing was obvious, and we were pleasantly surprised at how well the whole evening went. It really depends on the group of people you're with-- just relax, don't take it super seriously, and have fun! We sure did.

We were going to buy a board game murder mystery game, but found this app. It was so easy to invite friends and play. I liked how they gave costume suggestions and we didn't have to have anything but our iPhones. I hope they make more!!

We played Chicago Shenanigans on Halloween and had a blast! Everyone got into character. We laughed the whole night! Can't wait to try a different theme!
