So far so good - tracking what I eat is an enlightening experience. Wish I did it sooner! This app helps me do it.

I’ve been using this app for a while now, and I love keeping track of everything. The suggestion meals are great and all, but I wish there was a option to pick the ingredients you like or love because I’m an extremely picky eater and none of the meal suggestions sound appetizing to me. This is just my opinion obviously, but maybe there are other picky eaters out there who would appreciate this idea.

This has a really nice UI which is why I keep coming back to this app. I also like how it counts my daily steps. The biggest downside is that the search doesn’t always work, sometimes items can’t be found but then I try again and I get results. Calorie counts are frequently incorrect from barcode scanning as well, I’m noticing they skew 10-20 calories higher than what the nutrition facts on the box say. However, I am used to pen and paper calorie counting and creating my own foods gives me more control over the tracking so it’s not a huge deal.

Immediately deleted because it required me to sign in with either FB or Apple. How about a stand alone app instead?

Love this app. For free you can scan UPC codes for calories, keep track or calories from almost any good and also exercise. Can also track water intake. I’m recommending it to my friends!

I really like this app for tracking my food. I don’t use it every day, but I will use it sporadically to get back on track when I drift off my goals. One thing I would really like to see on this app is a beverage category other than water. I know you can enter it with meals or snacks, but I think most people consume beverages throughout the day, not just with meals, and certainly not just water. Sodas and coffee drinks and alcohol can sneak up on you, and it is easy to forget how calorie dense liquid calories can be. Having beverages as their own category can help people more easily track those hidden calories and make them more mindful of it.

I have been using My Plate as my go to app for tracking food, exercise, and water for at least 5 years. I love the accuracy, and I find that it really works. I go off and on healthy eating plans, so I’m not perfect. Sometimes the off cycle is 10 months or longer. But so far I’ve lost 68 pounds so far.
