Overall good

It works great with old cameras but it crashes way too often.

A Lightmeter You Always Have On You

With my digital and film slurs with there auto everything, it’s nice to have an accurate meter with me when I take a fully manual camera out. It’s as accurate as my Gossen Luna Pro F and my old Sekonics. Thanks for keeping the app updated.

Easy to use

Update July 2019. I haven’t used the meter for a while. When I opened it this morning I hit ‘don’t access my camera’ and BOOM! Screen went black and I can’t get back to the meter. Annoying. I guess I have to dump it and buy it again. Old review when I liked this app: I have a bunch of old cameras, a couple don’t have meters so this works for me. I’m going to have my phone with me anyway so having the meter in my phone cuts down on gear. Some of these old cameras are heavy and bulky enough. DDahlberg

Both of the free and pay version are excellent.

Must have

This is simply a great solution elegantly done. I use this App every time I pick up my camera and use it to even make me want to take pictures even more. Just love it and am still getting to the point where I know all its features.

Not Happy

Wanted to use as an incident light meter, but no mention of how or where to get/install a diffuser. Also, a window popped up asking me to rate the app, I chose “Later” and the screen went dark and the app doesn’t come back... just a black screen. I’d hate to see what would have happened if I chose “Never.”

Pretty good so far!

Just got into film photography after 20+ years. I have a Minolta Hi-Matic 7s and a Minolta SRT-101. Today I’ll be receiving a Rokkor X MD 50mm f1.4, and the SRT-101 has a minimum ISO setting of 6, which I have done ultra low ISO film of 6. So I’ll be putting both the camera, the film, the light meter, and my understanding through the paces. Can’t wait! Great app so far!

Favorite light meter app. Worth the $$$

SSIA. I can count on one hand the amount of apps I've paid for. This is one of them. My exposures are better than with a $200 sekonic meter.
