Use of MyFlightbook requires a free account on MyFlightbook.com.
MyFlightbook enables you to:
• Access your logbook from anywhere.
• Enter new flights (including auto-location of nearest airports), or edit existing entries.
• View flying totals and do customized searches.
• View your flying currency.
• View the route of your flight on a map
• Upload, edit, and view pictures for flights (either existing, or taken with the iPhone/iPad camera), including comments.
• Find nearby airports and view airports you have visited.
MyFlightbook also contains optional functionality to auto-fill parts of your flight entry for you. (Note that continued use of this GPS-based functionality running in the background can decrease battery life.)

It’s a little older fashioned and not as “pretty” as other apps, but it’s just as capable. Only thing I wish were different was automatic formatting to cleanly print off logbook pages. With some tweaking here and there of page size, lines per page, etc it will print off nicely, but it would be better if there was a script that automatically arranged the pages.

I’ve been a MyFlightBook user for years now and it is hands down the best of the bunch. Why wouldn’t you use the log book in Foreflight? Well, my reasoning is because it ties your log book to FF. If FF changes its mind, or lets say makes that a charged add-on in the future you’re now stuck. By maintaining an electronic log book independent of any specific app you’re reducing the risk of losing that feature. MyFlightbook is priced right and has a tremendous amount of features. And hey - the best part is you can use it all you want and throw a few bucks their way to show your support.

I found MyFlightbook by accident and am glad I did! Its setup is great and it tracks my progress while I work toward my next certification. It has an amazing number of options and you can tell that it was developed BY pilots FOR pilots! Good job and kudos to the developer. The app is free, but you can pay to help support the developer. I did!

Can’t recommend a better software or customer support if you’re looking to convert to digital or just tired of paying over 100$ a year for YOUR logbook to be held hostage like other places will do.

Great app for e-log books. User friendly on a computer and as an app. I do wish it showed a map of all your routes taken(only bad thing). The price is right though! I use this almost everyday!
