MyAudioStream is nice and well designed streaming app. You can easily access music from your phone. I liked the introduction which explains how the app works quite comprehensibly.

Won't Play Anything From A Server

I like the interface. I was excited to find a simpler, more intuitive DLNA client. Wanted to quickly try the lite version and move right on to the pro app. But I soon realized that the only things showing up in my list are songs that are on my phone. Going through Extras, I can browse the servers on my local network, but tapping the songs does nothing. Tapping the little plus sign turns it into a check mark, but there's no indication of what that means. It doesn't add it to the current playlist. I would have preferred to have a dialog with the developer about these things - give them a chance to explain, or perhaps educate me on how it works. But the only way to talk to them is to sign up for Facebook. I'm not comfortable with FB's privacy trade off. What ever happened to email? I see no option but to leave this review, uninstall the app, and consider it a dead end. I don't need another app for playing the music that's on my phone.
