Exactly what I was looking for

I'm not a regular journaler but have always wanted to be. Never got around to it because keeping journals around just seemed clunky. Some other apps for journaling are the same. This app is perfect. Doesn't ask for too much and provides just enough. It has the touch of a "real journal" feeling, not giving way to making it feel like another mobile app. However it has just enough interactivity and organization that I felt journals were missing. I've been using it every night. I love it!

Takes getting used to

I have been using MacJournal for years, but the last few upgrades have, in my opinion, done more harm than good. I found this app when I went looking for a replacement, and I'm pleased with it so far. It would be great if font formatting could be available, but otherwise I recommend this for those wanting an easy-to-use journaling app that can sync across devices.

Love It

No criticism. Keep up the good work. Thanks to this expert app, I bought the full version of it because I love it so much. Well, this is the full version of the app where this review is on. Best way to express your feelings with a tablet.

My favorite

Few years using

This is my favorite journal app. It's the only one I've used but it hasn't given me a reason to stop.

This is a great app. Nice way jot down ideas, write down thoughts and keep track of your life, been using this app for 4 years! Definitely the only app that actually lasted me. Always great to reflect on what you did or how you felt in the past, and I will continue to have this app for who knows how long. Definitely 5 stars for me!

Close.. but

This app by itself is a functional, easy to use diary/journal. However, I cannot give it 5 stars for a few simple reasons. First, like many apps, (and games), most of the communications are done over insecure plain text http connections. In the era of where security and privacy should be paramount, plain http connections simply won't do. The connections should not only be https, but should also dump the very dated communication standards that have more security leaks than a pasta drainer has. It should only use TLS and dump using SSL connections, at the very least. As far as privacy goes, there is no reason why a 2 stage authentication can't be used, to both protect your private user information on your journal, but it will also help prevent snoops, (including snooping spouses), from being able to read your innermost thoughts and feelings about anything you write about. Finally, even though many might find it a pain, but a multi digit password, at least 8 digits in length, that includes both upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters, should be used everywhere by everyone. Why? Simple. Stop giving bored hacker kids, government agencies, and police departments free reign over your personal privacy. The technology already exists where people can greatly enhance and protect their privacy, and security.

I loved my "My Diary" app. I used for years, but I could not add pictures or paste text. This app does both. Only have had it a month but, it is easy to learn and operate. You will enjoy. Well worth the small fee and more.
